SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fallen

'The angel feels the light of sun upon her skin, and reaches her wings full length to the source. Her body aches from abuse and torture, and yet she manages to reach her arms up, and tries to pull at the chains that bind her feet to the small pedistal. Her eyes blindly search for the source of the light, and a small sound of pure beauty pulls out from her lips.' This was one of the best female pictures I had ever drawn. Her hands were a pain, but I managed. The details in this picture are greatly reduced from scanning, and I am sad to say that the only way to fix it is to look at the original (which I have actually lost within the piles of paper on my mother's table). Angels do not hold any religious favor with me, I like them because of their wings. I see them just as people with wings in most of my drawings. Done with normal #2 pencils, and blue copier/printer paper.

On a slightly less dramatic note, I can't draw hands. You can. My frinds can't draw hands either, you're the first person I've met that could. I love this pic!!!
