SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rainbow Chinese Dragon

This is actually a second version of my tribal chinese dragon. I decided that he just might look good in rainbow form, instead of just a solid, depressing black. This is what came from it, and I don't mind overly too much.. (*grin*). Dan Frazier (famous fantasy artist.. does art for Magic:the Gathering cards, and so such things), told me that this dragon isn't as good as the tribal one, because I just went psychotic on the colors. I like it.. but that's just because I'm me. Oh well. :) Done in Black and Rainbow colored ball point gel pens.

22 Apr 2000	Whitney B. Mattila	Loading... Wonderful! ^.^ Very colorful and light-hearted. Dragons, in Chinese culture (I think), tend to be for good luck and promote rain for crops, so it's perfectly understandable that they are in rainbow colors. ^.^
