SciFi and Fantasy Art: Noble Wood Elf

I have my own little world called the Nebula, and I am so in love with Elves, so I decided yesterday that I would draw an Elf, and then it became a Noble ^_^! You can tell that it's a noble by the style of dress, although you can't tell she's wearing white silk, very expensive, showing that she's rich. And also by the length of her hair, as longer hair is harder to take care of she of course has long hair and many servants to take care of it! Tell me what you think!

Wow, the hair must have taken awhile to draw! Very nice!

:-) Lara *Frodo* H. Rose replies: "The hair didn't take that long, but it took a few tries to get it! Thank you, I think it's nice too!"

Ooohhh, I love the face on this one! *smile*

:-) Lara *Frodo* H. Rose replies: "Thanks, it wasn't that hard to do, the hair took ages though!"

Wow, she's got that mysterious mona lisa smile going on!! Lovely hair too!!! She is gorgeous, one of my favourite Lara Rose pieces, I must say!!! Keep up the fantastic work!!

:-) Lara *Frodo* H. Rose replies: "Aww... thank you, I love it too, but I love my Sad Elf more, and the stuff in my Sci-Fi gallery, it's all good though, more stuff on the way, this gallery has only been up for a few days and already people are flocking to it, well not really flocking as much as my friends being pushed by me ^_^ but it's all good! Thanks for visiting, again! Lots of love, LARA!!!"

it's an elf? I thought it was an ink-blot.

:-) Lara *Frodo* H. Rose replies: "What's that suppose to mean? Are you trying to insult me? It's not working!"

Alright, the hair on this one is kind of flat, which is what I'm hoping the very rude person above me meant by "inkblot." Try to make it more flowing, for example, look at your own hair, or somebody else with realatively long locks, and try and draw the way it hangs around their face. Two dimensional hair only exists on paper, though I'm osrry if that's the look you were going for.

:-) Lara *Frodo* H. Rose replies: "Damn, I thought it was quite good, I'm wrong again or so it seems."

The face looks quite okay, but the hair... it looks a little awkward (cut out from a piece of cardboard, maybe?)As the person above said, it will look better if you add more flow to it. Try adding some highlight too. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but if the hair is flowing, shouldn't her dress be as well?
