Nice collection. I'm a recent arrival at Elfwood too (and your neighbour in gallery 1082!) so "Hi!" I like manga art like this although oddly I've never managed to get it quite right.
They're all nice but I have to say that your self potrait, rather than the gallery pictures, is my favourite.

I love your little chibi person at the top! So you got the bad rap from art teachers for drawing anime style as well eh? -_- *tsk* That was always annoying...

Hey hey Pyro!

P.s. What do art teachers know? We had to draw these two little cutie-pants toddlers for art class and I made mine into zombies and she didn't like it. Isn't art self expression??? Jeepers.
P.P.s great jacket on your bio pic *tee hee*

Same thing happened to me when I did anime and a lot of other stuff at school. Administrators are so WACK! Though one of my teachers thought it was a great art style so she was the only art teacher to pass me. I miss her.....sniff..she was awsome.

so dont go around saying things like "nobody appreciates anime". the truth is that people appreciate good art and dont appreciate badly drawn cliches. its that simple.

PS. anime wont get you anywhere, professionally speaking.

to all you kids who do anime at school thinking its art but failing the class: your instructors dont necessarily believe anime is a bad art form. in fact its very beautiful...WHEN DONE BY A GOOD ARTIST! most of the 14 year old kids that do 'anime' get yelled at because they dont know anything about drawing the human form but they just jump into it and focus on details and backstory for their characters and dont even think of the fact that their character is not only drawn horribly but also very very cliche. every anime character that ive seen people at my school do are so cliche and theyre all in the same poses.
