| 13 Nov 2002 | Christopher D. Shaw | This is an incredible picture! It's drawn like it actually is a dream! It's fantastic! The expressions, the drawing, everything. Great stuff! | |
| 12 Apr 2003 | Kathleen 'Dragon's Muse' Marshall | This is astounding! There's so much going on in this picture... but it doesn't seem too 'busy.' I love the mermaid especially. She seems all flexible and eel-like to me. I would love to add this to my tour, 'Love Transcends,' if you don't mind. Please email me if you don't want it on the tour! | |
| 12 Apr 2003 | Elf Maiden | I hope your lady love loved it (she'd be crazy not to!). | |

| 3 Jul 2003 | L. Mitchell | I've never had to make this comment because I've never been able to talk to an artist who uses symbolism, so forgive me if it sounds crass; I really don't know how you'll take it.
The comment: I think it's rude to put up a picture with symbolism and not explain what it means. Perhaps the meaning is private, and that's all right, but if it is, tell us. Otherwise, the picture looks like a jumble. I can't really see the beauty in it because I'm trying to figure out what a unicorn with a cross on its head and a wolf have to do with this picture, and why a mermaid is hugging an angel. I really don't mean to sound rude, it's just the first thing to come to mind. It's fine to have symbolism in your art, but I think it's unfair to not explain it. Maybe I'm asking for something that I shouldn't be asking for. Not everyone can just look at art. Some people say that it inhibits my ability to see art. Maybe so, but really, I have to understand what I'm looking at before I can enjoy it. People tell me that I'm not as skilled as they are in artistic appreciation, and I think that's just them defending the artist. Some people need an explination. I'm not alone and I'm not uncultured either. The symbolism in this picture is very much distracting because every bit sticks out. Really, no offense. This is just the first time I've been able to talk to the artist who drew an explination-less symbolic picture, and that's the first thing that popped into my head. Feel free to email me an answer at jammin_edward@yahoo.de, to explain or just to let me know if my comment offended you in any way.
Just looking at it like it's a bunch of lines, the composition looks really great, as well as the contrast between black and white. Nothing looks really wrong. The mermaid looks like a mermaid, the wolf like a wolf, etc. The angel's eyes are a bit odd, though, like they're coloured too darkly and slanted weird. | |
| 24 Oct 2003 | Nadia Amro | This is a beauty picture! Loads of detail, I like the mermaid the most. She is holding her lover so tight like she does not want to leave him.. And this man is looking so sweet Every detail of this picture contains so much emotion. I will say it again.. Wonderful detail and perfectly emotion! | |
| 19 Oct 2004 | Paulo Zanetti <pacito21@hot...com> | This draw is so beautifull, and means a lot of things to me. For that I made a Tattoo with it... Thanks for the picture. | |
| 2 Sep 2005 | Katie | I took one look at this amazing picture and I suddenly got chills. It is simply amazing. She looks so desperate to have him (not in the pathetic way). I think he is a little confused about the whole thing personally lol. But I realllly like this picture. | |
| 29 Dec 2006 | Erica Vermette | This is so beautiful! The details are wonderful, every time I look at it I see something new. | |
| 4 Jun 2007 | Invicta | Great picture, magnificent detail, though I wish you'd expalin some of the symbols. | |
