SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Point of Departure

This one is several years old now but its meaning to me still remains fresh. The longing and the desire to seek the horizon, to fix your eyes on a goal. The crest of a hill, the bend in a forest road, the peak of a foreign mountain. What lays beyond?

oh wow, such a breath-taking view!!! If it was me I'd just sit on the bridge and watch the water fall!

This is just gorgeous! The compostion and the layout were painstakingly thought out, and while the shading is a little light, you still did a fantastic job. You know, some of my favorite pices are years old, like from when I first started painting!

Even Princess Anghara and her brother, Prince Neo likes this drawing. I feel that it has been drawn with great feeling...

This may be several years old, but it loses not of its effect. What a great setting and mood piece. Each element seems to have its own story: the figure, the river, the bridge, the cave, the tree, the valley and castle beyond -- all excellent! I love just sitting here and imagining the story (and meaning?) behind each.

I love this, it really captures the spirt of exploration. Then agian, its not like I will ever get a chance to explore, so what do I know about the hardships. Shutup reality, its a great picture.
