SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lord of the Rings

This drawing was a gift to my father for his 50th birthday. I am just another whose love of fantasy was kindled early with Tolkien's classic, which my father introduced to me, and so this drawing is just one, unworthy tribute. Here it is shrunken and condensed; it was considerably larger and more detailed before. (Self criticism: I am pleased with Gandalf, though his position I borrowed from Elmore - I think Legolas and Gimli came off very well, though I dislike both my Aragorn and Frodo. Otherwise, all I can say is that this drawing is much better when viewed in its full size.)

They have no clothes. you made them to sexy, instead of making them fare. Keep working you have have something special. If you find any spelling mistakes in my writing it´s because i usual not write in english. I´m from sweden and prefer to use swedish. 5 Oct 2003	NERITES	Loading... Mae govannen Mellon nin, As a gay guy myself I understand your point of view completely. Lord of the Rings does have a gay appeal, but it's because of the enduring relationships that most of the male characters live. Frodo's affection towards Sam, and Sam's devotion to Frodo may seem as a homosexual flair, but I do not think that it exists. Frodo and Sam had a unique experience that linked them forever. The books and the movies are art and poetry, incredible examples of Human (Hobbit, Elven, etc.) Love. Best of lucks, and continue with the drawings, the more you do, the better they will be! Namarie.
13 Jan 2004	Andy	Loading... Superb picture pal. You have a rare talent so keep drawing. Gandalf looks amazing and the detailed ring border is perfect. I love the characters aswell. The Balrog is brill too. And the nazgul and fell beast (correct me if Im wrong) in the background is a great touch. Keep drawing! 10/10
