| 10 Mar 2008 | Mesmer@covingtones.com | Speaking as an actual Indian (cough) er, Native American, her jaw needs to be stronger, her nose needs to be broader or bigger, possibly both, her cheekbones need to be higher, and her eyes need to be darker and less wide, not smaller, just heavier lidded.
I find that when I am planning to draw an indigenous person it helps to look at a lot of photographs or possibly even visit an anthropological website. But, obviously, I’m very picky.
Oh, and it would help viewers recognise her as an indian if you put in a braid or a feather or some other typical clue. | |
