SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fae

I finally added a person! - or in this case, faerie. Not much to say - there was actually detail on the dress before my scanner messed with it, but that is the case with most, no? Anyways, any tips or critiques are greatly appreciated!

Very pretty fairy. I love the wings and the feelers. Very cute.

she IS cute, but her hand looks a little strange; im not so sure that you would see all of her fingers at the angle it's at, and the thumb should be much larger, but it's detail is very good. Just a suggestion, but perhaps her stomach should curve in a bit, since she is a faerie and all. Her wings and antenae are so original, i love them, and the dress is particularly good, the lines flow wonderfully and her feet make her look even cuter ^^.

Not bad at all. If you want your scanner to behave when scanning, try scanning with a Black and White Photo setting, if it has one. It will make your file size bigger and all, but if you want good details to show up, I found this was the best setting.

Excellent, you definitely have the right idea. This is my favorite piece in your gallery, since it's of a humanoid, and that's what gets my attention. Great wings, and i like her expression. Those shoes, sure wish we could see more of them, they look cool...Fantastic work!

This is lovely. The wings and head-thingies are unique and look interesting, but they work really well.

Well there is not much to critique here. This drawing is very nice. Just keep practicing, and your drawings will get even better.

The hand seems kind of crooked and unnatural - an uncomfortable position to have it in. The wings are pretty, but don't seem like they would be able to keep anything up, with all the little slashes in them. The nose is a little bit far down on her face - the length between eyes and the tip of the nose should be about the same as from the tip of the nose to the middle part of the lips.

I like the wind effect in her hair and dress - but it might also affect her antlers a little more. Keep working, I love your horse drawings, but I know more about drawing people than equines, so that's why I commented here 2 Good work!
