SciFi and Fantasy Art: Cartoon-Style Amballod

This is a character of one of my mom's coworkers'. He asked me to draw a book cover for him. This is what I know about the story; he sees a meteorite and when he goes to look at it, it gets struck by lightening, breaking open the rock, inside of which are two rings. He puts the rings on and discovers that they can be fitted into each other, and when he does so they give him SUPER POWERS. Or some such. And I felt like drawing him in this style. Don't you think that would make a good comic book?
