SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Girl on the Wall

I got the idea for this piece when I was at band camp (shush up! I play flute and nuuuu, I don't do that!! >.<) and to get the pose just right, I asked a male friend of mine to pose for the picture while I did a rough sketch. Pedro makes such a pretty girl, don't you think? (Drawn Summer 2000)

15 Apr 2002	Frenza101	Loading... i honestly think that in this picture ther is too much going on in the backround to notice her face. But, that may be a good thing because I believe that her face should be more realistic looking for a better affect. Try to use proportion too, it helps a lot. Lauren E. Cotto replies: "I also drew that picture over a good two years ago. At the time, I wasn't really trying to go for a more realistic approach (anime/manga style never really depicts things realistically), and I had also just really started to get the gist of drawing, so proportions aren't really correct, I'll agree with you there. I still have trouble with proportions >_"
