| 14 Feb 2001 | Ghost | Two things. Artemis is a girl's name, an old Greek goddess, actually. Second, the rapier is way to short (foils and other swords made for fencing is generally rather long). Other then that I like it. Very musketeer.Thomas' reply: I didn't choose the name; the person who plays the character did. As for the rapier I hoped to get the effect that it is pointing towards the viewer... | |
| 19 Apr 2001 | Jason'Stogie' Stowe | Love the costume as always your knack for clothing is astonishing. your forshortening could be tweaked(but I am not one to speak) And Artemis can be a male name as in Artemis Entreri(sp?) from Salvatore's dark elf books. | |
| 23 Apr 2001 | Jacob Klünder | Name is perhaps a variation on the Aremis of "The Three Musketeers", one wonders? *smiles* By the way, Thomas, I may one day kidnap you, chain you in my apartment and force you to draw PCs and NPCs for my group's games. But Lars wouldn't like me for that... | |
| 3 Sep 2001 | Caroline paquin | You sure have a talent for textures and clothing ! You can almost feel the fabric realy good job ! | |
| 5 Oct 2001 | Caroline Paquin | In fact, he could be my Clarence cousin or something like that ! cool | |
| 4 Nov 2002 | Anonymous | Its an absolutly great drawing, alot of talent, my problem with is: He looks like a musketeer, i meen wheres the evil? Thomas K. Laurfelt replies: "Actually the player wanted him to look like that, and I think the name was intended to sound like one of the three nusketeers! He's not an evil character and I don't know where you got that idea!" | |
| 31 Aug 2003 | Michael Sheridan | This is a great pic! Your technique is lovely, and it has a real atmosphere to it. The one thing I would work on, though, if I were you, would be the proportions. They seem to be just a wee bit off. | |
| 6 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | I've got something to say, i think that you are really good at using pencils for shadows, because it gives some life to the drawing BUT i think that it's a pity that you have some problems with proportions of a human body, you have a lot of "power" but you should sharpen it while looking at some anatomy books or using tutorials your drawings will be much more better than before.....
go on.... | |
| 11 Oct 2004 | Swordsworn | The one thing that bothered me about this is the placement of the arms... It appears that if you follow them to the torso, the shoulders will be far too close together... or the arms will be coming out of the chest. Maybe it's just perspective throwing me off... *shrugs* But I do like the unicorn! Am I the only one who thinks this resembles Inigo Montoya of the Princess Bride? Eh, must be the sword... | |
| 27 Oct 2005 | Terra Lichtenstiger | Ooh! I like him, he looks so skilled. He looks either mad or he is concentrating real hard. | |
