Wow, you only have four pieces of art up, and I'm already amazed. How can you call Serenity a quick sketch? If I triedto do a quick sketch to look like that, I'd be 'quick sketching' for hours. Your work is wonderful. I can't believe you did these, they look so realistic.

Danica S. Benson replies: " Thank you both. lol, well Serenity was a quick sketch but those are rare and far and few between. Once in a while I can pop something out great in 15min. but it usually takes me days if not longer so she was definately a rare occurance. "

Very nice!!! I think I like emerging best. She's quite wonderful. Time to start adding some shading with a paper stomp to give some depth. Worry about colour later. ( Not sure that's good advice. I'm always afraid to do it though and mess up a good thing. Wow..you have an incredible gallery. Not only have you gotten the proportions and shapes of the face and features right, you've captured the beauty of elves, mermaids, humans, and everything you draw in your art. I am amazed with how everything looks so perfect (even if it wasnt' a perfect scan to you..it looks perfect to me!) and incredible. The faces are so real, yet so simply drawn that you can just be amazed and not distracted by too much detail. It looks like they all took a while to draw. Anyway, they all look incredible, so keep drawing and continue to create such beautiful artwork! (and if you have time, come visit my gallery!)
