| 8 May 2005 | V. E. Lehkonen | Hey, this one's nice! Hmm, furries have always been fantasy. And anything fantasy in a modern setting is "modern fantasy", not sci-fi really... sci-fi is more like future, technology, aliens and stuff. Of course a furry driving a spaceship would be more so sci-fi, heh. If not futuristic fantasy! I think there's a modern fantasy option in the picture category drop-down menu in the extranet, even. Um, right. Back to the picture! It's three in the morning, how can you tell. It's nice to see a furry looking this nice and realistic. Seeing too many "mainstream" furries kind of blinds a person eventually. I especially like how you did the patterns on her fur and the shading. It kind of tickles my brain in the right place. XD The transparent sleeve and the shiny bits are well done, too. The eyes are awesome! I just hope she has panties under that skirt, heh! Lynn A. Davis replies: "I'm glad she's getting some love.
Before the merger of Lothlorien and Zone47 I only had a fantasy gallery. Furries, if they were considered fantasy in and of themselves (which wasn't clearly stated in the rules back then), would then have belonged in Zone47 if they were wearing modern clothing. It seemed like a grey area to me so I never made the effort to get a Zone account just to have a space for my furries in modern clothing. Now that the merger has happened (and I have had confirmation that furries are by definition fantasy creatures on Elfwood) I don't have to wrestle with myself over whether or not to try uploading them here.
I'm a big fan of the merger.
And I think the skirt has an attached panty of the same plaid." | |
