SciFi and Fantasy Art: A Lizardman

Your standard lizardman. I'm still decided whether or not I like it.

Well, I like it. Looks like something I'd create, in fact.

Well, you should like it, but here goes a little of constructive critisism: The feet, they dont look like they are in the right position, otherwise, the picture its awesome-

You should like it. It's great. Some kind of jewelry or something would be cool because it would give hints about the society that the character came from. Because I want to know.

it does not need head spikes

it does not need jewelry to denote a culture.

it does not need "lizard claws." whatever those are.

i'm just crusing the woods looking for a lizard man for an RPG i'm in and yours is the closest i've seen to what i'm looking for. a half man half lizard kinda dude. yours is not what i'm looking for because my character is a komodo dragon man, so this guy is a little skinny for that.

about other peoples' comments, screw them. its your picture, YOU draw it how you wish to.

thank you for being an artist, because i'm not (at least not drawing)

This is an awesome picture, all the other ones (no offence) are good, but sort of look like ruthless killers. That picture is what I think a Lizardman is,plus some armor.

you know, it really reminds me of the basilisk Tkaa in Tamora Peirce's the Immortals quartet. Tamora Peirce describes the basilisk that walks on two legs, stands seven or eight feet tall (don't really remeber) and can turn something to stone with his earshattering scream. Very cool.

nicanica is totally correct, I have a new respect for the picture since I read that comment. I love tamora pierce
