SciFi and Fantasy Art: Pegasus

Another result of the insistance that I owe everyone a picture. This one is out of the ordinary, however... instead of swearing I promised her a fairy, she swore I promised her a pegasus. I grumbled a lot, but a pegasus sounded fun, so here it is. Pencil in a sketchbook, 2001.

Incredible shading, and the feathers are awesome, I have wanted to draw a right feathered creature since long ago, I would be honoured if you visited my gallery and leaved some critisism on my pictures, please.

i think this was very out of the ordinary. The face structure was way off. But the wings were quite awesome.
I enjoy the rest of your work very much.

Very nice effort, the wings are excellent (better than I could do) but there's something not right about the shoulder and forelegs. They're a little short for a pegasus, and the head's set pretty high (maybe that was intentional I don't know.) Maybe if you narrowed the elbow joint a little or defined it a little more. The joint isn't that smooth, there's always a little more definition especially in that position. One more itsy bitsy thing sorry if I sound nitpicky, the hip joint on the rear leg doesn't look right. It's a little too round and it comes up a little to high. Other than that it's wonderful! I really like the tail, the mane and the eye. It looks like it's searching for something. Keep up the good work!

very nice job. the foreleg when it meets the body looks a bit odd but the wings are very, very good. HOW much time did you spend on each individual feather????!!!! an hour???????

ok ok I feel bad for saying this and all but he's a little out of proportion his legs seem a little short his head seems a little big ect. I've mastered the anatomy and if you wanna see some of my stuff to practice more proportion or somthing I would gladly e-mail you some of my art. The shading and the wings are awsome though. I like shading. It gives the art more depth. take the same drawing and look at it and when you try to redraw this picture make the legs longer the head smaller the body not as long ect. indavidually the legs head body ect. is awsome but together they don't mix looks as if you took diffrent pictures out of a magazine and put them together *kisses**kisses*

it's extremely good seeing as horses aren't your area of expertise, I've seen worse from people who draw primarily horses.
