SciFi and Fantasy Art: Raven

12/1/2000- This is the second pic Idrew for my boyfriend, Chad, after a LONG discussion about red-tailed hawks (my favorite birds...) and how ravens are one of the few birds that can risk being pesky to them. Of COURSE Chad has a LONG time elven Ranger/Druid called 'Raven Stormreaver,' and, though he WASN'T a bird, I decided to make him one. :) This looks GORGEOUS IRL, and It made him SO happy and giddy *giggles*. It's marker and colored pencil on Bristol. See the Fae he's solemnly observing? How many can you count?

I dont know anything about art, but even I can see that the original is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and I have it stashed in a safe and secure location in my room. It ceases to be imaginary and in some ways becomes very realistic, like the painting of some lost civilization. I love it!
