SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dogasus

Called Dogasus even by its creators, the Cirrhyim. This was definitally one of my earlier works. Any shading was totally unintended, since I had no clue how to shade. I went for detail, and got it. Each feather is individually drawn; same with the fur, although due to crappy scanning you really can't tell. Comments appreciated! (1998)

11 Jan 1999	Daniel Routhier	Loading... Hi maggie, welcome to Elfwoof. You can go to F.A.R.P at the main page for some helpful hints on drawing. And I think there is something about shading in there. I consider myself as a Shade-Initiate, therefore you can always study me or anyone else in the wood that does some shading. Simply put, fix an imaginary source of light in your drawing. Then darken where the would be shadows, lighten where light strikes directly, and do a gradient between. Oh, and about the drawing, nice wings
