| 19 Sep 2004 | Moira | I must agree with anonymous. What's the point of something that yo clearly spent no time trying to improve? There's no shading--he's pretty much an otline with some features scratched in. Elfwood isn't your personal dumping ground for sketches that you scrawled in thirty seconds and can't be bothered to improve! And as for your remark about yaoi--I personally find just plain carppy artwork from no-talents with big egos to be a lot more irritating, offensive and despicable than well-drawn slash. Maggie L.A. Duckworth replies: "*chuckles* Yes, people that cannot draw that think they can draw are very annoying, I would agree. How is it that you can have seen my remark about Yaoi, though, and not seen the rest of my gallery? You commented on nearly all of my old, crappy artwork, but not on a single peice of my new stuff. I'm in complete agreement with you that my old art sucks. Its here because it was the first stuff I ever put up...and there is some sentimental value because of that. Lately, even before your comments, I was toying with taking it off. But....I dunno. It shows a beginning. " | |
| 20 Sep 2004 | Brianne M. Hellyer | Well aren't they a little harsh! I personally think that it does have to be worked on a little more- but I believe you mentioned that in the description. Well I checked out this picture of yours because in my story, there are creatures that are Dog-People which in my story they are called: Houks...I think...*laughs* And this caught my eye! I think it is a great beginning, and I love your other pictures as well! Maggie L.A. Duckworth replies: "Houks! ^^ I like that name. But nah...this picture isn't much of anything. Part of some story I started 7 years ago that never went anywhere. Ahhh...for dreams long dead. " | |
| 2 Oct 2004 | Emily | God, why do you even post here? You draw like a three-year-old and, seriously, people need to stop encouraging you. You don't have talent or skill, you don't improve much over time...why even bother? I mean, go ahead and draw, but don't force it on the rest of us. Maggie L.A. Duckworth replies: "Don't improve over time? Do explain. This picture IS seven years old. I find myself wondering why commentors post at all when they don't leave any return addresses to get in touch with. Are you embarrased about what you've said? I truly like all comments, good or bad, but I think that you ought to explain a bit more in depth why you think the way you do. Visit the rest of my gallery, and then comment again. Also...I'm not certain how it is being forced upon you. Please tell me more?" | |
