SciFi and Fantasy Art: Waterfall II-THE MUCH, MUCH BETTER

OK, this is the other waterfall, SAME, only with a better scan. The little floating lines just beneath the castle are supposed to be mist, but I think they look more like water. Whatever you want. I personally like my detail on the background waterfall. Comments appreciated! (1998)

You're right, this one does indeed look better. I personally like more detailed pics, I mean, ones that don't excist solely of outlines. But I guess everyone has his own drawing style. (I myself don't have any... so who am I to criticize anyway...) Don't you do coloured drawings? well, goodbye, milady, and keep up the good work (the bad one as well, just keep up the work in general) *bows deeply*

I too once suffered from a crappy scanner. This picture has a good concept and detail but you forgot to add the spray comming off the base of the water fall. Maybe a rainbow woud also make a nice touch.

There is spray..wel, sorta...You're not actually seeing the bottom of the waterfall in here...that stuff that looks like water is actually a very thick mist.

I personally think that you are not good at drawing. But I have also not bothered to check out the rest of your gallery. Maybe you just didn't put any effort into this one. Yes...I am a thought of as a jerk for saying this, but someone should of said something.

Cale you are missing the point. This is a site for AMATUER artists. So yes some people are not going to be fantastically stunning artists. It goes with the territory. At least these people have the guts to put their stuff up for the world to see and yes they are bound to get flamage from people but constructive critisism always goes a lot further you know. Maggie your artwork is very similair to my style, you draw people better though. Mine all look like extras from a post nuclear movie set.

Scanners can be a pain in the backside belive me 2 This is nice especialy the waterfall, the thing that bothers me is that i'm not sure if you should be able to see that much detail in the castle from that distance, um like the size of the bricks, if you were to get closer would be massive. I don't know if that makes sense and i don't want to be rude as its very good detail in the brickwork just trying to be crittical 2
