SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bayui

Lastly my art teacher know that I use PC to paint. She told me to stop doing these. I feel very angry. Otherwise, my art homework is done very bad, so she angry with me. Now I want to prove that time is changing, nothing can stop it, CG is more important than hand drawing now, so I choose CG-fractal design.

Ok, I like the two drawings in its own way. The more raw form and then the complete one.. I can agree that the computer art is taking over more n more, yet its harder to make it look good, not just use a "cloud filter" with photoshop.. but this pic shows a great use of comp. and I like it ! Keep it up regardless what the teacher say !

I like what you do with the comp, but I don't agree that cg is more important than drawing. Certaintly there are wonderful advances in the cg industry and you can do great things with it but if you don't have the skills that come with drawing (composition, proportion, ect..) i don't know how much you could acomplish. Luckily, looking at this pic it doesn't seem like you have any problem drawing either. So it sounds more like a preference. That said, I'd encourage you to keep doing the kind of art YOU want to do. You can try to take advice from your art teacher, but never let it stop you from continuing your own vision. Good luck.
