| 25 Apr 2001 | Russ 'McInti' Lathim | Those "wolverine blades" are called sai. One technical note, the way he is holding the sai in the middle right shot is incorrect. Since the prongs of the sai were used to "catch" swords and staffs in blocking techniques, having you fingers there would hurt. | |
| 31 Jul 2001 | Ben Jampole | Sweet pic i wish i could draw that real looking | |
| 20 Aug 2001 | Ana 'MarsW' Isabel Espiau Talavera | It is an incredible page! The work of shades is beautiful and the proportions are brilliant! I love the details of the hands. I agree with Russ, those weapons are sai and if you catch them in that way the truth it is that they can be very uncomfortable. | |
| 16 Nov 2001 | Bayeth | Oh yea and something i forgot, the sai was originally invented as a gardening tool! By the ancicnt chinese but they later realised that they could be used as weapons, the same thing happened with knunchucku and tomfas (police battons) | |
| 16 Nov 2001 | Bayeth | oh yea and another thing about the sai, when throwin they are held by the middle prong, due to that they have a weight design so that when thrown properly they almost always land point first, but still a very cool drawing any way, and if u eva use sai's again in an art work they can also be held with the butt pointing out and the points back across the fore arm, i know this cus im a martial artist and sai's are my fav weapon, their soo kool! lol, but a great picture!
