Hey, welcome to my corner of the woods! My name is Lee, I'm 15 years old, and I come from rainy Wales... I've always been somebody who likes to draw, but only recently I've actually started to take it seriously (maybe a year or so?). I'd love to have my life involve art, that's why I draw everyday, and you'll usually find some sort of fantasy in my work. I'm still learning things all the time, and the reason I'm here is to meet other, more experienced arists who could maybe give me a few tips? If you could do that, great!! i'd really, really appreciate it! One of my biggest dreams is to open a business when I'm older where I do fantasy portraits. I'd sketch people, then fantasize them... I'd absolutely love that. I'd really appreciate any advice somebody could give me on that. Likes: I love my music, movies, nature, clouds, rain, plants, animals, dancing (only when nobody's watching, hehe), singing (in the shower... I'm not very good >.<), reading, writing, drawing, socks (hehe, you gotta love 'em!), going out with my friends, dreams, the world around me. Dislikes: animal cruelty, nastiness, littering, ignorance, general hostility towards the environment.. Inspiration: My main inspiration at the moment is other artists... I love work by Amy Brown, I'm a big fan of Brian and Wendy Froud, James Brown, Nedda Shishegar, Michelle Bradshaw, Josephine Wall, Linda Ravenscroft, Jessica Galbreth and many more, but I also get inspiration from nature, music, and stories that I daydream.
Interests
Reading, writing, drawing, painting, listening to music, going for walks in the woods, photography, talking with my friends, animals, the environment...

You've got a nice gallery going here--I like your use of colors--my fav is 'Watched'--love the colors on this piece--and no, it's not too bright--just perfect! You're still so young and can accomplish so much more. Maybe, you can practice a bit more with your anatomy--get some inspiration from fashion mags, photos and other reference material. i must say i agree with your likes: animals, dancing, rain, writing, reading, and drawing... pretty much everything you said! Your art is really cool, i love the colors! You do well with watercolors... I’ve never been able to work with that medium myself. Good job! again, I totally agree with your love for all that stuff. and out of curiosity, when you said dancing.... do you take any sort of dance classes or something? just wonderin again, great work, keep it up! I look forward to seeing more! | |

And as a friend from the woods I would just tell u to leave it pouring like rain... and I believe your the rain specialist ^^.
