SciFi and Fantasy Art: Earth My Body

This is another of those works we got to do at that tafe course... This was in life drawing. I feel so sorry for the model - having to hold that Jesus pose for so long - apparently she needed to go to the chiropractor after that! Anyway, we had the specifications that it had to be in charcoal, had to include the model, or part thereof, and one of those plastic skeletons that they always seem to have in schools, or part thereof. After that... it was up to us! I was going to add in a bit of text from a Goddess Charge, but I decided it'd ruin it, and I always got that chant in my head when I was looking and working on this pic... Y'know, 'Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath, and fire my spirit', so that's why it's titled what it's titled! I guess it isn't strictly true, cos there isn't any water or blood at all, but... um... It's pretty? :)

Second, I don't know if your pictures were just put up or something but I can't believe there aren't more posts, considering how amazing your pictures are! I love pencil shading and I want to improve. I look up to you and hope to someday be as good as you are! Leah King, age 14 (and a half!!!!) Canada!
