SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sionki

Euri never actually asked me to draw his character for him, I just kinda invited the opportunity on to myself :D His character is Sionki, she is a studious healer sort I THINK. I should pay more attention. After a few sketches he determined that not only am I awesome, but that I should draw his character casting one of her spells. The one I chose to do is 'Obsidian Butterfly Death' Also, so totally unclear whether that is the name or not. Butterflies with razorsharpwings fly out and rip everything to shreds. I thought this picture looked TACKY when I made it, but I could attribute this to my natural distaste for butterflies. Euri says it is 'omfg amazing' so I consider it a success.

3 Aug 2004	Kitrazzle	Loading... Very pretty picture. And yes, the spell is DoOB, Death of Obsidian Butterflies. Ever so useful spell, and one of the easiest to learn. Lots of fun to destroy clocktowers and pirate ships with.

I don't particularly like the woman in the piece, but the butterflies.. when the picture was opening, I feel a releasing feeling. But then again, the woman in the picture looks like she's feeling somewhat "released" as well. Or maybe dying, and flying off to another dimension.
