SciFi and Fantasy Art: Element: Earth

I wanted it to look as if she bleds in with the earth itself.

Great idea, but she looks stiff and uncomfortable.

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "I know, I´m working on that."

Wow! A very impressive blending of woman and land, she really feels like an all-encompassing earth elemental, caring for the land she is part of. The sky is also beautiful - from the blending blues, to the luminous moon, to my favorite - the shooting star. Lovely, lovely, all around, and congrats on it being a mod's choice today!

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "Thanks, now I´m really blushing!*hides behind the chair*"

Beautiful! My favourite bit is her foot and toes... so realistic... odd of me I know.

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "Thank you! No, not odd at all!I´ve had problems drawing hands and feet, and I did put extra time on getting them right. So I´m really glad you like them, and think they are realisticly done! "

Wow. I love the way you did the hair. All flow-y and such... Looks like Gaea, Nature herself! ^^ (I'm nuts. Just ignore me.)

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "Noo, you not nuts at all!She is a being of the earth, and therefore a part of it. Blending in with it."

I -love- the concept of this one.. and I think you blended the figure and the land wonderfully.. I think my favorite thing about this piece is the soft colors.. and the way her hands fade into the land.. beautiful!

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "Like her too, she´s a favourite!"
