SciFi and Fantasy Art: Water elemental II

This is actually older than the other 'water elemental' picture I did. I found it among older works, had totally forgotten about it. Well, here it is, enjoy!!!

This picture is very well imaginative. But the person and the water are very blurred but still a very good ppiece of art!!!!!

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "It isn´t supposed to be clear lines, he is after all, merging with the sea. Like the other water elemental.Glad you like it!"

I love the way the water looks as if it comes from his hands.

It's cool how it ooks like he's making a tidal wave with his arms 2 The distiction between the water and the figure are very blurred, which is neat. And the blues in this pic are SO pretty!! 2

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "He is being of water and blends in with it, kinda like the earth elemental. It was supposed to look as if he is part of the sea around him, kinda like a tidal wave, yes."

Hey, this is great! He looks a little on the skinny side, but maybe thats the way you meant him to be. What medium did you use, I love the way the water swirls under his feet look, I'm curious as to what you used to do that. *nod nod*

:-) Lela M. Rajak replies: "Watercolours..didn´t think it would turn out that good....pretty good...with some anatomy misstakes. But oh well, it´s though erasing mistakes when using watercolours!"

The blending of colours and forms is wonderful. I love the way the waves follow his arms, but have their own shape and texture.

Jeez! I must say you have a great imagination! All the stuff you have here.. it's all so magical. I could picture those drawings in a good fantasy story. I haven't glanced through the whole gallery yet so... I think it's time to move on. Keep it up, will ya? In any case - i think you have got a new fan.
