SciFi and Fantasy Art: Angel & DemonThis pic has somehow a negative atmosphere - I know. But sometimes I have to draw such negative things - especially if I have negative feelings inside of me... But I also think that this pic is somehow lovely (you now think Iīm absolutely crazy, donīt you?): I like how the demon touches her head with his and holds her head with his hand! ^.^ He is in love with her, really...But he is a demon and she is an angel...*sigh* Unhappy love...but maybe there is still hope? (Maybe if he tries to treat her better and not take her into chains? ;-) ) Anyway, if you donīt look at the chains I think this pic is not as bad as you may think! (But Iīm a very crazy person, so donīt take me serious!) ^.^ Anyway, I hope you like it! | |

It looks so much like he truly loves her and just doesn't understand that in chaining her up he isn't pleasing her at all. And it doens't look like he's doing it to be malicious or violent--he just looks like he really wants her to stay with him and this is the only rational way his mind can conceive to achieve his ends. Even the angel can not love a demon. But thanks for trying it! The demon is still in love with her and always will be. He stays in hell but now he had let her go and she is free and she will be happy. This one is your best work. | 1 Jul 2006 |  Nina Roussakova | I love the dynamic feel to the picture. Your proportions are really well drawn. The demon is also really good-looking. Not one of those overly muscular macho men. I can see he has a heart, but that he doesn't know what it means. I think the angel understands his pain, and yet she cannot love him for what he is doing to her. If she could speak with words he'd understand, perhaps he would realise that chains will only distance from him his true goal, and that is to love and be loved. XD Anyway, I agree with the commenters above, the anatomy is very good!! Wish I could draw it like that 0.0 And as you say in your description, they 'fit' together... I mean, how he is holding her and touching her... that is so hard to get right!! And it is so important...
