SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elflady

This one turned out - like 'Alena' - in a few minutes... I just wanted to study faces and eyes.... I like her very much - she lookes somehow strage and mysterious.... ^.^ ------------------------------------------------ Done with the good old pencil!

This picture makes me sad. The way she holds her head and her eyes. It's like she is trying to fight a battle inside herself and she is loosing. Reminds me of me self sometimes. She has stepped into the darkness for the first time and can't get used to it, or she stepped into the light and has gotten hurt. I really like this one alot. Very good work you have done!

22 Magdalena Mantler replies: "I never thought about her very much...but now I began to think, and you are right...It really looks like she fights with herself.....Thank you so much for sharing your emotions with me!! ^.^"

I really like her eyes and the design on her shirt! Her neck is too long, but it really adds to the picture! I like it! keep up the great work!

Great face! I really like the design on her forehead. Bit of advice - shoulders when facing head on and just relaxing as she is here should slope gently, not be squared off... Still, lovely art, good highlights on her hair.

2 Magdalena Mantler replies: "Thanks for making me aware of the shoulders...and I´m glad you like it!"

She very beautiful. I like her hair and her eyes. Her neck seems a bit too long. Was it on purpose? 10

12 Magdalena Mantler replies: "Hehe...ok, now I know it´s too long....but that´s what she looks like! This neck was PLANNED!!! ;-)Thanks for commenting!"

Lovely. You drew this on charcoal paper, right? 1 I noticed there was something funny about the shading... another one of your best pics!

1 Magdalena Mantler replies: "Thanks for your comment again! ^.^ But I´ve to say that it isn´t charcoal paper - it´s normal drawing-paper... But the pic wasn´t very big, so I made it bigger in the computer and so you can see the structure of the paper! ^-^"
