SciFi and Fantasy Art: Procession to the temple

The picture shows a procession of cloaked people to a temple. They are going to worship the inner sanctum there. There are going to be lots of mystical rituals and there will be lot of magic. Maybe there are some wondrous healings of people - ghosts will apear, called by the oracle! The "realistic" things will fade and what will stay is pure magic and religion - and this all because of the believe of the people!

----------------------------------

This pic was inspired by a photo taken by Mr. Reinhard Tischler, who allowed me to use it for this picture.

In reality, the pic shows cloaked rose trees - yes, ROSE TREES, believe me!! - in spring.

Mr. Reinhard Tischler took this photo in a park in Vienna with the so called "Theseustemple" (but on the photo I got from him you CAN´T see the temple in the background!).

The photo is an artwork itself and I´m sorry that I´m not able to show it to you right here.

But anyway, I´ve to say: THANK YOU, REINHARD, for this great photo and for allowing me, to use it!!!!!

These may be solemn, devoted people who mean no harm, but their humped forms and the desolate landscape gives this scene a seriously creepy atmosphere . . . I think I'd steer clear of this scene if I happened by.

Tree looks good, sky looks good, with great perspective. Strong moody illustration, great job.

1 Magdalena Mantler replies: "Thanks for this first comment on this pic!! Yes, I like the thing about it that it looks somehow creepy - I liked the idea of such an desolate landscape... And showing this people going through it and looking for a place to experience something good there was my idea... Thanks so much for commenting!! ^.^"
