SciFi and Fantasy Art: Winged Dragon

A somewhat generic winged dragon. I was starting to do more pencil than ever when I made this. One thing I found out is I don't like to draw the traditional european dragons with those big butts!

Hrrmm, Ive been looking at this pic cuz it reminded me of something.. then *POW* x_o It hits me. It looks like the Dragon form 2 from Breath of Fire 2! Even if u did from ur own ideas, the resemblance is shocking...

To Whom It may Concern,

Sorry, i dont realy like your dragon. Its not what a dragon looks like. Dragons are beautiful and they emanate a powerful radiance from them. Yours looks like something you would see in a comic. Also, it is totally ugly!

If at first you dont succeed, try, try again.

I dissagree, dragons can be anything u want them to be, and its not ugly, i think its amazing 2, and i would be impressed if everytime you picked up a comic, something like this would appear in it. Well done.

THis picture is a fairly well done one, i have to agree with a previous comment it does look a bit dragn man, by the way you mixed the lags and arm ratio together change the lengths and angels of front and rear legs and that picture would be spectacular, and to add on to another earlier comment dragons are not only signs of bueaty and knowledge they are creatures of might, they can show there form in any which way they like it is not a crime to write such a barrage on such a fine artist, the dragon is a spectacular beast and has to be left alone for its survival,

just we need more grand pictures of them that show their bueaty and might together with a slight bit of anger 2

I think your dragon rocks the the human resemblerence shows a sense of superiority and intellegence keep it up!

Dude that dragon just outright rocks! I will admit that I think the eyes could do with some work but overall it is truly excellent. However, in response to an earlier critism about dragons needing to be beautiful, lady no offense but you must be one of them 'fairys riding unicorns / dragons holding crystals serving wizards' types .. a dragon is a ferocious beast, a winged fiery serpent to quote the bible for instance .. unless you believe in that crystal, garbage dragons are simply huge dangerous creatures that could lay waste to any terrain if they felt like it. And as for the big butt look .. dragons instill fear into men, seeing a giant scaly pussycat with wings and bad breath isnt scary 10

This is an amazing picture. It suits what dragons really can be but in respnse to an earlier comment, dragons are not only ferocious beasts but wise and powerful creatures as well. and while it's true that a dragon could lay waste to a landscape at whim, one could also grace a landscape. As far as I'm concerned, a dragon is an intelligant, sentiant, amazingly powerful creature!

Any who want to email me to talk about dragons should email me at webster_cowboy@hotmail.com and please put Dragons in the subject line! Thanks (and great job on the pic =) )
