SciFi and Fantasy Art: A perfect day Elise

'... the water soaked her blond hair black ..' inspired by a PJ Harvey song, didn't work out like I planned. Oh well.

Very beautiful face. And hair is so lively in water.

I really like the coloring, the face and the ribbons on her arms...I'm not as good with coloring as I would like to be...*sniff*

Blue ribbons wrapped around her arms, I like that touch. My suggestion for drawing partialy submerged subjects in water, is to "bland" the parts under the water, I mean, give them less color saturation, and make them a bit darker and duller than the parts on the surface. But not "too" much 2

Oh! That's lovely! Wow, I tried to draw this lyric too. I love, love PJ Harvey, she's amazing. Your's turned out much better than mine though, but yes, great job!
