SciFi and Fantasy Art: A phoniex in pastles

My friend Elcie is writting a story about a war between phoniex and dragons. I thought i would have a go at drawing some phoniex and this is my first attempt, i was going for a kinda flame shaped bird... next i think i will try a bird shaped flame!

oooo fist comment *dances around in circles*. This is pretty good. I have a block or something when it comes to pastel 10. I only see one wing..where's the other one??? You did a good job though

Bright colors .... and i like the eyes... aww its soo cute.. ^-^
