SciFi and Fantasy Art: A phonix in watercolour

I'm putting this up here to encourage me to work on my watercolours, as you can see its not really that great, all the colours just kept blending into on tone! Hopefuly with a little more practice i can get the hang of it.

Beautiful, but here's a tip with watercolors (ok, it's the ONE thing i do know about them!!) don't get the brush too wet or the colors will all blend, and if you don't want something to blend, wait till that part dries and paint another part for a while, then come back after that section is done (i hope that makes sense!)
