And yes, this means that I am available for commissions (although not free requests). Drop me a note if you're interested!
Wow, thanks a lot for the mod's choice, as well as your comments and views!
Update: I do, of course, appreciate all your comments and the time it takes to write them, but seriously, if I hear just one more correction on the way he's holding his bow or arrow, a dream puppy is going to die. =P This picture got done ages ago, and I'm not going to adjust it anymore, nor am I ever going into archery. So there. :P |

| 12 Nov 2005 | Bella | I love the coloring and the close ups on the side. I like the forest and the way Stitches blends. He does, he blends in very nicely. I only have one nitpicky comment. Please don't hate me! *puts hands over head* The placement of his hand on the bow is over the arrow. As the arrow travels, the fletching will pass rather painfully between his thumb and the bow. From experience, let me tell you that it hurts! Oops. Totally disregard that last bit. Just noticed the other comments about this. *slinks off* *comes back* Still love this pic! | |

| 12 May 2006 | Anonymous | Sorry, I couldn't help but notice that his thumb is over the arrow and that isn't correct. Because, you see, if you do that it slows down the arrow, cuts the web between your fingers and makes your aim off. what you really do is sorta prop it on your thumb where it grips the bow. (Just thought you'd like to know.) Liiga Smilshkalne replies: "Thanks for the comment! Next time, please make sure to read at least one or two other comments that have been made concerning a technical aspect of a picture, which, I'm sure, will lead to a considerably less irritated and homicidal artist. ^^ Have a nice day." | |
| 29 Jul 2006 | Georg plaz | wow its amazing! every time i see a picture like this it makes me sad your art is perfect and mine is little crap :/ lol ok maybe because i started making art some month ago and the way he is holding his bow is perfect! i don't know why it shouldn't work with holding the bow like this! again: this picture is amazing like all of yours ^_^ (sorry for the mistakes i am from austria =] ) | |
| 27 Aug 2006 | Duelen | ARCHERY!!!!^-^ i like this!!!his hair totally breaks the whole longhaired wood-elf thingy!! and i love the pose!! and who honestly cares if he's going to cut himself by the way he's holding an arrow...yes it hurts, but even if you hold it the "proper" way, you still can get cut...so there! it doesn't mater anywho!!!i love the way you colour!!!!!!! how did you learn to do that!!!!!!? | |

I love the colours you’ve used in this, they’re perfect and whoever commissioned this must have been REALLY pleased! At least they should have been. Love the pose and the shading.
