SciFi and Fantasy Art: Gentle Power

Before anyone starts with the theories I've heard before going on about why women draw big snakes and so on...it ain't about that. I draw this concentrating on the feeling coming out of the drawing, it's meaning... how when you love someone you surrender yourself to them, and you do know they could hurt you, but that doesn't change a thing because you trust them... and I find it a beautiful thing to draw a creature that could slash her body in a second if he wanted, but he doesn't and instead looks at her with admiration. Ok that was long and philosophical.. lol got carried away *g*

Wow, excellent picture. I understand what you mean about him not wanting to kill her. Love is so gentle...

Excellent Image. Both characters look real, the proportions and shading is perfect. I wish i could do images like this...

This picture tells a lot about relationships in general. It's a risk to trust somebody more and more. But it's also a nice thing to feel secure. And this drawing expresses a contradiction between these two feelings.
Very nice.
