	The fiestier side of the Lady. She doesn't look very angry, but it's all in th eyes.I thought I'd give her freckles in that one, since I've always imagined the Rohirrim to be kind of Irish-looking, don't ask me why...and Eowyn must spend some time outside, so freckled she is..:)

27 Dec 2004	Ashes	Loading... I always imagined the Rohirrim as something akin to the Norse... But then again - that's where the Celtic looks come from, so I guess it's all the same in the end LOVE her expression - go defiant Eowyn!
3 Jul 2005	Berengaria	Loading... I think they were mostly based on the Anglo-Saxons. I read in a book of essays on Tolkien that their language was really just Old English (which was what Tolkien was a professor of, anyway.) And when the Rohirrim first appear there are some things that are a lot like the Saxon poem Beowulf...the part where the company have to leave their weapons outside, and there's a guy called Unferth in Beowulf who's a bit like Tolkien's Wormtounge....come to think of it maybe it's Wormtounge who offended her in the picture. Er--sorry aout the lecture. It's a _reeelly_ good picture.

I just finished drawing a picture of Eowyn standing with a sword, and it’s pretty good, but I think I still like yours better. I can’t post pictures on the internet, though, so I can’t show you the one I just drew.
