| 30 May 2000 | satansdaughter | wow, you managed to capture the feel of the slow, graceful movement seen in underwater creatures, such as whales (which these remind me of), perfectly. doing this in a still medium is no mean feat! and you can feel the bond forming between mother and child, it almost looks like it could be a shot from a documentary, with david attenboroughs breathy voice (if you don't know who he is, ask someone!) saying "and here, we see the wonders of nature, in this - touching seen, between mother, and child. this, is a rare moment to catch on film, as the Shisavaar Mantea is a shy creature, rarely seen by man. this, for the Shisavaar Mantea, is what life is all about. the passing on of genes, so that theirs, may survive, the passing, of generations." sorry about the length of that, got a bit carried away...that's such a good picture! your wonderful with water colours... Linette J. L. Withers replies: "Thanks...and yes I do know who Attenborough is " | |
