SciFi and Fantasy Art: Knight returned

After the battle is won the knight rides homeward reigning in at the edge of the forest to gaze at the place where his heart dwells... I drew this for a special project and it was one of the most researched pictures I've ever drawn. My smudge stick was used for the first time in years (resulting in cleaner hands than usual.) I did notice a few faults in the picture as I was drawing (but I won't draw attention to them ^_^) but it was too late or too difficult to change them. Still I think this was quite apleasing result.

7 Aug 2000	illusion	Loading... whoo hooo....first comment!!! the few faults in the picture is nothing when compared to ur obvious talent. it is overall a good pic, the fault i think ur refering to is the horses nose, no? it may be a bit too short, but that actually gives the pic an interesting feel in a way...

15 Aug 2002	Anonymous :)	Loading... This pic is great just a suggestion why don't you put a helmet on the knight too it would be cool Linette J. L. Withers replies: "Originally I didn't put a helmet on because he was returning home. As you can't see very much in a helmet and they are very uncomfortable he would only really be wearing it if he was in battle or tournament. Anyway, I decided not to this time..."
