SciFi and Fantasy Art: The sea sentinel

I read some of the ongoing discussion about what makes a dragon long after I drew this. I won't give my opinion (people have said some of mine look dog like), instead I've put out one of my coast dragons. Smooth skin a la dolphins for good swimming, all my dragons have wings so far but there's no fire coming from this guy...

You did good. 2 I'm under the opinion that dragons once actually walked on the earth, and we commonly refer to them these days as "dinosaurs". Considering how many species of dinosaur there were, it isn't hard to believe we'd have a wide variation of dragon styles to pick from. 2
