SciFi and Fantasy Art: Illumination: Book of Services

Again inspired by the medieval books of hours, as the other two illuminations in my gallery, this was drawn to be the facing page of the title page for a fictional book of services for the LRP group I am involved in. The three scenes it displays are in the centre, a wedding service, to the left an initiation into the church, and to the right, a funeral.
The two most prominent avians are the priests of the church the book is "written" by, and the red book in his hand is in fact a reference to the book that this image would actually be printed in.
The colouring is an attempt to mimic a limited pallette and deceptively simplistic style.
