SciFi and Fantasy Art: Silverhoof

This was meant to be a characterisation of my friends centaur Sharin. But it didn't quite capture Sharin instead it is one of her tribe. I drew her out gathering herbs as she is a healer. I'm pretty pleased with the front half of her but I'm less so about her back legs, hopefully I'll get it right for the next centaur picture.

21 Mar 2000	Elizabeth Vegh	Loading... I've never attempted to draw a centaur (although I just posted my first unicorns and a pegasus), I find horses in general somewhat of a task to draw. Considering how hard it is to mesh a human with an animal realistically, you did quite a fine job. You should ink this or perhaps draw the lines darker? It really is quite good and deserves it.
25 Jun 2000	Tanos	Loading... Very nice effort!! I salute you for such a great pic, and since I've never attempted to draw a four-legged equine (I do anthropomorph horses.) From the little knowledge I know, her straightened leg should be a bit less harsh (it's too straight, there's no visible sign of a knee) and the hind legs do need some work. But it's lovely! Keep it up!
8 Oct 2000	Kimberly M. Glenn	Loading... good work, it seems to be the angles you have trouble with, trust me you need to look at ALOT of horse pictures before you can realy get them(and sometimes not even then) with me its arms and hands good luck
