SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hecate of the Tower

Hecate is one of the strongest and most important figures in my personal mythology. She has always appeared very non-sexual, though, until one night I had dream I saw her naked in a tower. It was very bizarre, and I still haven't figured it out. But here she is from that dream.

Since them, I have discovered a little more of this lady. She represents my repressed sexuality, hidden beneath my hard diamond shell in the shadows. If she is released, then she will turn into the opposite of Hecate, Lilith (go see Lai the Pale to see what my unrepressed sexuality looks like.) Done in pencil.

That torso is amazing. . . I have a thing about womens' torsos, I think they're beautiful.

However, the left shoulder seems too high.

Nice pic, the legs are just perfect, her shoulder seems a little too broad for her entire body but it still a very nice drawing

Very nice work. Great attention to detail in the hips, calves, knees and abdominal muscles. One thing you might watch is the understructure of the collar bone and the centering of the neck. If you clearly mark your major land marks of the upper torso (manubrium, clavicals, and the socket of the shoulder)early in your sketches and keep ridged to them throughout the building process it'll alleviate headaches later. Overall great gallery.

Yeah, there is something off about the shoulder, but other that, she's lovely. I'd best not look too long.

Jack would be proud of this flattery.

Stop giving her a hard time about that shoulder. The drawing is *very* close to the original.

I agree: It does stay pretty true to the original drawing. Except the head.
