SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sirens of the Voluptuous

This one is dedicated to my boyfriend, who, though he often gives me profound insights into my work, can only say, 'breasts', to this one. Personally, I think the breasts are kind of blurry in this one, but he loves them anyway. And since, I'm sure that the vast majority of males (and a few females) look at my work and think the same thing, this one goes out to you too. Pencil and Photoshop.

12 Feb 2004	Anonymous	Loading... hmmm...another version? Do you have some kind of sexual/nudity obsession, or something?? Lisa Coleman replies: "Probably. Actually, almost certainly. Though, in this case, it's my boyfriend with the obsession! Seriously, though, the reason I make several versions of the same picture is that I love to experiment in Photoshop, and see how many ways I can make a picture and show all potential aspects of it. Printers do it, Monet and Manet did it, and I do it."

Experimentation is growth, and it shows that you are growing as an artist and trying new things. Although similar, each of your sirens images has their own unique look and feel to them. Although I like this composition best, I think that I prefer the color combination that you used in “Sirens of the Rose Fire” better.
