I love how you've made use of very simple lines as suggestion of more complex bits (like the hand on the right, how the line of her fingers isn't that complex, yet it suggests her fingers without actually showing each one). It's a style I wish I could accomplish, but never have. Ah, well. Very, very beautiful. She looks so peaceful. When I saw this, I thought of, oh... Can't remember which really famous artist did it, but the title was something like, "Ballerina Fixing Shoe." A graceful girl, just leaning over to fix her ballet shoe. It has that same sweet simplicity, and the same grace. Beautiful. | |
