SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Historian

She needs a name. I toyed with Arianna, but...hey, I'm open to suggestions! The historian is the immortal spirit of history and she took the form of a Daedalian since she makes her home in the massive historical archive in New Daedalia. So, I gave her those squared looking ears to make her look a tad different from the other Daedalians. She is of course very wise and quite caring. Her twin brother is the keeper of time.

Markwardt	Loading... * First comment dance * That's just how my mother always said: If you read too much, you get squared eyes (well actually I think she referred to watching TV...) Thats nice, I like the flow of her hair. The nose is a bit strange, though. Laurie A. LeBlanc replies: "Her look was a tad modeled after writer Arianna Huffington. (If you're curious to see who she is, her website is at http://www.ariannaonline.com/) I cartooned her look greatly though giving her a tad of a Greek art-style to her. (Especially with the hair.) And that's why the Historian looks the way she does. I really didn't even realize her eyes were so squared looking until you mentioned it though. But you're right, they are! oops Didn't plan on that!"
