The wings im not to sure on
althought the cloth over the mouth should be wider or you should see the mouth open around the cloth and the breast is to far over or the chick is turned to far one way...
But hey im a critic who is just learning to draw where you can reconize what it is ....
But hey besides that your upper tight needs pulled in or your arm needed to be lenghtened and your ribs need to be higher or your tit lower and the heads a tad to large ...
....(critic)...

:-) Lori MacVittie replies: "I rarely reply to critics, because as they say, everyone's a critic and I have a full time job already. But I thought I'd reply to this one... You're right, technically. Yes, this should longer and that should be straighter, but the point of art is not necessarily to be technically accurate, but to evoke emotion or thought. If we criticized based solely on technical accuracy, which seems to happen all too often, we'd have to similarly criticize recognized masters such as the cubists (Picasso) and the surrealists (Dali). Munch's "The Scream" is highly recognized and is a powerful image, yet it is technically inaccurate and one could find a lot to criticize about it. No, I'm not saying I'm in the same class as any of these, but what I am saying is that art, like music, isn't always about technical accuracy. It's about getting a point across, about making you think or feel something. And as far as I'm concerned, that's far more important than technical accuracy. And now back to our regularly scheduled program ..."

I like how this speaks to me... the concept behind it is one that I truely believe.... Ironicly my first thoughts were of two different stories ( well one a book the other a movie) Ferenhight 451 and Equilibrium. You are gifted in getting messeges accross.

*Sniff* oh no! Censorship! Oh my! What a horrible thing indeed!! (Sarcasm).

Look, if you want to just try and show the beauty of the plain naked human body, as far as I know you can do that here. If you want to draw something more than that, get a membership to a different site.

It expresses the feelings of a woman who has something to say but is not allowed to shout it out. She is completely frustrated. Maybe she is very angry. I dont know why she has wings, I thought they were drapes. She does need a background of some kind however. She is carrying The Book of Rules that frustrate her. The image has so much to say.The artist is full of frustrated emotions about censorship and they all show.

Hey,Lakes,Aurora: If you're going to be technical about everything, then maybe you should check your spelling. You use to, instead of too. Oh, the corrosion of the English Launguage! But, as to the picture, it's beautiful in the thought that it provokes. I love your use of color, too.

Oh, hey. Look at that. "Abadon" was me at one point.
I may have ditched that name but I still stand by my point:

"CENSORSHIP IS A DAMNATION!!! A CURSE!!! WHY CENSOR SOMETHING??? WHY CENSOR ANYTHING AT ALL??? DOWN WITH THE TYRRANY OF CENSORSHIP!!! BRING DOWN THE WALLS THAT SURROUND IT AND DESTROY IT!!!!"

Ahh... that felt good. XD

censorship? more like the loss of freedom to express within human rights! i cant say that i dont agree with such a thing as censorship but when it contaminates all art that can be considered "indecent" i believe that it completely deteriorates all dignity in the art. if the artist wanted it to be that way they would have made it that way so screw all else!! (sorry to be so---strange) anyways-----great pic! i am with the cause of the peice aswell as the thoughts that it is able to provoke. truley masterful
