SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Rose

I started this piece on Friday (15/12/2k) sort of to express my feelings. At my school, following a usual tradition, roses were being sold, and you could buy one for somebody. Some one got me one, but did not bother to say who it was from, so I've got no clue who gave me this rose. I still don't know and it's driving me mad! Anyway, done in coloured pencil.

I know who gave it to ya! ....yeah yeah, thas cos you told me...>_< heh heh. does the happy dance I saw the real version! la la lala! get tomatoes thrown at her oh, right, the actual comments! Okay, this is very beatiful. I love the rose and the petals flying everywhere. Tho, it seems to me that the petals should be more above the blossom, not all around it like that. And her face it a little...odd. Still, it's a wonderful pic. ^_^
