SciFi and Fantasy Art: Forest Maiden

This started out with just the ink part of the pic, drawn horizontally. But then I turned it vertically and that's when I got the idea to add the female. I really like the way this turned out but I'm not too sure if these two medims go together? What do you think?

I like the composition. Looks like a dryad to me.

I think the mediums go together well, and she's beautiful. My critique is about the ivy.. is this meant to be her hair, or a headdress? It's hard to tell for me, and I lean toward the latter interpretation.

Interesting look. I like it. The longer I look at it the more varied the image is.

I think her nose is a little flat but other than that it looks cool and the two mediums work well together.

I love the look of the foliage for her hair. Great work! I've noticed in some of your work that most people tend to comment on the nose jobs 2 I would have to say that's the only thing that could be improved on. Besides that... EXCELLENT!

Ooh, I love the shading on the dress, it's really realistic. I think the two mediums go together quite well, although the inking does look a little dramatic against the soft shading.

I think the contrast between light and dark in the ivy is good. It would have been better if you had pre-planned the ivy-hair so that all the leaves would be applied to vertical gravity, so they would point down. Otherwise, the pencile sketch is great, and overall the work is good.
