SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elli

This is Elizabeth Ashenseed ni Fiona. A Sidhe, a faerie born to nobilty and enforced by the Dreaming. Somehow 'Elli' (known as 'bug' to mortal family)isn't archetypically noble - She's always a bit of a tomboy (well, quite a bit actually) With hardly any courtly manners.
Though eventually she grows out of that to become a properly groomed and upstanding fae, of course she never really grows out of all the tomboy habits - so she becomes a knight :)

This picture isn't totally finished, but it looks good so I'll put it here until I've completed it. This is also going to go towards my art portfolio for when I try and go back to college.... Did I mention I wnat to study in America? Unfortunately I'm poor though and everywhere wants money :(

I go dark when I work in pencil...which isnt always intentional hehe..she's gorgeous...you should slap up your muse to slap you up more heheThanks for the compliment! I have been told my pencil work is better than my coloured stuff... I have to agree with that. But it seems my Muse has been getting the hint lately and been giving me good drawing techniques - I look better than I did a year and a half ago when I got this gallery at least

I like this one the mostest, even tough it is of a guy, yuck! giggles...come on over to the states, we're nothing but cheap here, laughes out my window...I'm so lazy, I should reply to things more often.Thanks for wishing me a happy holiday, I can't remember much of it now so that must be a good sign . I know America isn't cheap but you do seem to have better art schools than over here... Though that could be me being sent to loo kat wrong things.

I love the armor design, I'm terrible with them, but I'm working on it. I also love the expression on her face as if it's her first time in the armor and she's eager but nervous to show everyone. This is your best yet! ~YllysArmour tends to be a bit of a difficult point with me. Every once in awhile some things go right though and then it doesn't seem so bad when you waste several hours practicing the same stuff (though saying that, practicing for me is usually drawing full scale pictures anyway )
